The Windmill

Stavros was waiting to welcome us. Thank you Stavros. The lady associated with the booking (Tsang?) doesn't communicate on arrival. Infact, she plays no part in the process of booking, staying or hosting this property. On each occasion we've stayed we've reflected on the poor service she provides for these gorgeous, genuine and trusting people. Stavros we love your Windmill and the genuineness of your welcome and hospitality. Thank you very much.

Everything the owners (Stavros and his wife) did was perfect.

The traditional aspect, it was a unique experience staying in a windmill

1. The bathroom was really small, 2. the mattress was uncomfortable(we think it should actually be replaced) 3. We stayed for 4 nights and nobody cleaned the room nor threw the garbage. There was only one one toilet paper in the accommodation -we had to request for extra when we ran out of it- not very convenient

When we arrived (7am) the hosts Stavros and Ipapanti were already waiting for us with a very warm welcome, they had prepared coffee and biscuits for us - this was very well received after a big walk up the many steps through the town! They stayed to show us around and explain the set up of the mill with amazing advice on what to see and do! The windmill is a very traditional set-up the hosts have purposefully kept it this way which we thought gave the place a very homely feel, we settled in right away. The views were probably the highlight, absolutely stunning we couldn't get enough of them! This is definitely one of the best experiences we've ever had. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nothing - everything was amazing!

They spoilt us on arrival with the best cake we ever tasted and would give us cake every morning as a curtiousy as we were self catering Positioned at top of hill, away from the bustle in the centre . Supermarket and small shops and tavern ears close by. Pedi beach 🏖 catch bus on the hr just outside . €2 each way .

The view of the port and the sea was amazing. It was an extraordinaryl experience to sleep in a windmill. The hosts were so nice.

Great views from terrace

The kitchen and bathroom are small. It is awkward to have a shower. The heating/insulation is inadequate. Noisy from motorbike traffic. It is quaint but lacking in value and comfort for a longer stay.

Loved the view from the terrace. Loved that it is an old windmill. The owners kept bringing me wonderful home made biscuits, cake and other food. So kind. The whole experience was delightful.
