Location. Had everything we needed. Liked garden for our dog.

Shower not very powerful. Steep stairs but accept it’s old property.

Lovely terraced cottage, 1 road back from the sea front in a quiet location at Walmer end of Deal. We managed to park ok on the road near the cottage. Most of the cottage has been decorated and refreshed since the booking.com photos. Beds are comfortable. Dog friendly, secure garden. Ideal for one couple (although there are 2 double bedrooms the bathroom is accessed through one of the bedrooms, so not really suitable for 2 couples ). Everything we needed was available, we enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. The loungers in the garden were great for a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine. Deal is nice and well kept. Easy walks along the promenade into Deal and to Walmer Castle the other way.

Stairs are steep as is normal in an older terrace property.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. It is very well situated in a quiet street close to the seafront. Parking was available on the street. Our one query about recycling was answered promptly by Mark the host. We appreciated the complimentary cakes!

It was not a problem for us, but he staircase is quite steep, and could be an issue for anyone with limited mobility.
