The Thatchie

Beautiful property, really nicely done, lots of lovely little touches. The outside area is fantastic, would be great in the summer! The hot tub was really large, such a great size for 2 people. Well equipped kitchen, we cooked all our own meals. Nice quiet location, easy to find and designated parking space. Close to lots of national trust properties which were lovely to visit, and also near to the coast.

There is only one heater for the whole place and we were a little chilly in the downstairs areas, it was particularly cold when we were there. The site has multiple holiday accommodations quite close together, although it was definitely private especially in the outside areas. We could hear people in the next door property but they did not disturb us. Coffee machine needed descaling (although a nice touch).

It is a really lovely cottage, and we really appreciated all the extra additions like the robes, milk, eggs etc, it was a lovely touch. Great views and a really peaceful environment - we would definitely consider staying again!

You can hear the electricity pylon closest to the cottage buzzing. It wasn't an issue when inside the cottage or when in the hot tub, and if the area wasn't so quiet and peaceful you probably wouldn't notice it!
