Quirkiness as the property is unique. Outdoor space and patio were good especially in the hot weather

The stairs to the sleeping area are very steep and narrow and are not suitable for all. I slipped twice coming down, hurting my arm on one occasion. All the signs (8) on the patio requesting quiet - which obviously wasn't adhered to by those in the neighbouring accommodation as I was woken at 2am by their noise. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

The location was excellent, the barn was excellent and the hot tub was first class

Better lighting on the stairs coming down from the bedroom would be an advantage. The stairs were hard to walk down without lighting during the night.

loved the uniqueness and location. Quiet, walking distance to local pub and lovely walks right on the doorstep. well equipped and private outside space. Nice little touches such as milk in the fridge, eggs, shampoo etc... and host was helpful regarding recommendations.

luckily I was a solo traveller of suitable height but anyone taller than 5ft 6/7 would have to bend in the shower and a few other areas...not an issue but should be mentioned in the description, likewise the "witches" stairs.... but the property itself was beautiful.

The ambience, the calm, the lovely well thought out decor and furnishings. The hot tub! The cosy bed upstairs, the coffee machine also did the trick. It really is a lovely, cosy, warm and relaxing place. Loads of room and all the facilities you could want.

I didn't see any chickens! The weather was rubbish! Apart from that nothing really. Could do with a bit of cooking oil as we forgot but that's our problem.

Everything was great

What a wonderful place to stay. There was everything we needed for a few days away from it all. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. There were all the utensils we needed. Even though it was cold and wet outside, it was warm and cozy inside. The owners left us to our own devices, but with clear instructions on how to get hold of them, should we need to. A short walk into the village was a great pub. My daughter in gluten intolerant and they catered very well for her. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

The stairs to the bedroom are quite awkward if you are not steady on your feet. Some plastic glasses for outdoor use would be great.
