Casinha da Ti Babel

Close walking distance an everything!

I had the most wonderful time in the Casinha and I would do it again anytime. It is positioned so close to the main city streets, yet it remains quit in the night. It gives you a feeling of actually living in Faro, and not just visiting, mostly due to so many objects in the house, which are very personal and moving, yet not crossing the border of being too personal (which is my personal fear when staying in someone´s house). I had the privilege of almost feeling like I know Babel, the owner´s sister, and especially her creative spirit and her art, whose house this used to be. The owner Joao was incredibly helpful with his tips regarding restaurants and trips (which all turned to be true, I did manage to try some out), he was very quick in his response, and even send me my charger per post, which I forgot there. I recommend it to everyone and hope I myself will sometime have a chance to stay here again.

Perfect place for getaway in Faro. Very cosy and had everything we needed. It’s in center and close to everything. Host is super nice, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!
