We enjoyed our time here, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful view and watching the sunsets on the deck in the evenings. HUGE LIBRARY - lots of books and magazines to choose from and games to play.

Everything was a bit dated but still comfortable. Dishes were all gathered together in an odd spot in a cupboard off to the side of the kitchen rather than in the kitchen cupboards. It was not an issue, just odd. Took a while to locate them. Would only say that the bed was not all that comfortable. The mattress could probably be updated soon. (We had the queen bed)

Outside umbrella was rotten and hard to reach and steps were very steep a couple of pointers are you need to supply a hand broom and shovel hard to clean kitchen floor

A challeng to back boat into drive.

Beautiful period property with an exceptional view of the Firth of Thames. The house had all the facilities you could wish for, including air con. An easy walk to the local pub, which serves excellent food.

Tongue in cheek, the fact it is not available for us over Xmas eve to Boxing Day!😀 Proximity to the only road in Tapu does mean there is some road noise.

Location just across road from the beach was great. However need to be aware that it is quite a busy road. I really liked finding a blanket in the bedroom cupboard as we find duvet to hot! Having a comfortable sofa and aircon in the lounge was a bonus. Excellent parking space

Having light and heater combined in the bathroom was a tad hot on my 6ft4in husband’s head.

Just little things like just 1 tea towel for 3 days and no cleaning cloth or spray etc to wipe surfaces plus only a few tablespoons of dishwash liquid which made it harder to clean up as we stayed Plus as a fishing destination maybe a little outside table would be a good idea? Lovely place and beautifully clean and all the comforts so I would absolutely recommend to anyone but ask they address these few minor things especially as it’s a fishing Mecca at Tapu so they will attract fishers and fishers don’t want to leave a mess
