"Ok, but lodge needs an refresh in lounge"

2nd time at this lodge. Just as expected, clean, very well equipped for our family. Is looking a bit tired in Lounge, could do with an update on sofa, needs to be more comfortable and carpets, radiator in en-suite rusty. No tumblers for toothbrush . Not a deal breaker, but for the cost of a 2 night break. It’s the little things. Also would be helpful if could arrive a little earlier than from 4pm especially when staying with young children, then having to be out at 10am on our last day… we did ask to arrive at 3pm but was refused unfortunately, again when paying £560 it would have made our first night a bit better.

The Lodge is even better than the photos. Hot tub was great. View of the lake lovely. Quiet setting. Perfect. Spacious. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Dishwasher didn't wash very well but wasnt a big problem. Worked better on hottest setting. Didn't spoil our stay.
