Barakah Lodge with Hot Tub

The size of the lodge is huge so much space. Very homely. Love that it has a hot tub perfect for a chilled relaxing stay. Location great.

Nothing all fab

The property was in a beautiful location and the hosts had thought of everything that you might need for a stay away from home .

The next door lodge kept blue toothing our lodge’s hot tub music by accident , this happened several times after the “ quiet time” period which woke both myself and my 7 month old baby up repeatedly . Maybe instructions on how to to this properly could be left in the lodges to prevent this from happening in future .

Everything, the lodge was beautiful and had everything we needed and more!

It was a 30 minute drive from York centre and parking and taxi’s were very expensive. Park and ride and bus stop nowhere near.

Everything, the lodge itself was excellent and homely and in a beautiful location and near to visitor attractions.

The double bed was the only thing that I would say I didn't like as it wasnt at all comfortable.

Lodge was clean and tidy! The hot tub was clean and ready when we got there. Everything we needed for our stay was available. It was great having a washing machine as we were staying for a week.

There didn't seem to be much on site for families to do! We were there a week and had to ask for the hot tub to be cleaned. Anywhere else we have been with a hot tub, it would be regularly tested and upkept.

Beautiful lodge perfect location. Will definitely be back! Clean , easy to get access, great communication.

The only think letting this luxuary lodge down is the mattress in the main bedroom. There was a comfy topper provided but unfortunately the mattress is very basic and you can feel every spring underneath you. Each night my partner and I were awake for most because we could feel every spring .For a luxuary lodge I’d expect more than a cheap mattress. No oven gloves were provided so had to use a bathroom towel to remove hot trays and dishes from the oven. We would’ve used a dish towel but unfortunately none were provided either. I know there’s a dishwasher but a dish towel would’ve been handy to wash glasses and plates as there weren’t many dishes used to justify the washer being on. Apart from this everything else was delightful.

TV signal was poor. Couldn't find a hairdryer No activities on site. Pool table, table tennis etc.

The lodge was lovely and very spacious. It’s set in a lovely location where you get the sun on the terrace all day. If you are looking to have a relaxing stay were you can here the birds sing and when I stayed there wasn’t many children there this is the place.

The only negative I have is that the windows of the lodge could of done with a clean. The inside of property was lovely and clean.
