The location is fantastic and the fact we could park very nearby was a big bonus. Mark the host was very welcoming and accommodating.

Everything a great location and Mark the host was so helpful

Brilliantly located right in the heart of York and beside York Minster. Easily in walking distance of all major tourist attractions, restaurants and pubs as well as the train station. The house itself was lovely and clean, with all necessary amenities and the owner was very helpful and friendly. Would happily stay again.

No major problems with the property at all although the internet speed was a bit slow.

The property was a beautiful period house in a great position near York Minster. We could walk straight out of the house and be in the Center of the town.

The stairs are steep and there are lots of them but this was not really a problem as long as you are fit and well.

The location was perfect - very central. The house was well set out, very clean and comfortable. There were many lovely personal touches and the host was very accommodating and helpful.

Location was ideal, just along from the minster yet surprisingly quiet. Very comfortable accommodation. The host met us in person and was very helpful. We were also allowed the store our luggage whilst we waited for the taxi to take us to the train station.

It got quite tiring climbing the stairs but we knew that when we booked. There was a little bit of music being played in the local pub on Tuesday but it didn't last too long.
