Everything was perfection the beautiful house , location,very quiet ,right near the cathedral, and all the little extras mark went the extra mile to make our stay exceptional, bottle of prosecco in fridge ,choclate cake and banners ,I mention it was my sister's birthday/ retirement and it was so lovely to come in to a warm welcome highly recommend and carnt wait to visit again

The location was spot on, one minute walk to cathedral. Excellent host, showed us round property and how things worked and once settled in messaged to check everything was OK.

The location was exceptional, just next to York Minster and a very short walk to the Shambles and the train station. Local pubs and cafes close by.

Host met us on arrival, very welcoming. Perfect location just 100m from York Minster. Lots of room(s) spread over four floors

We reported a few minor issues which you would only notice when staying in a house, which is usually appreciated by the host. Disappointing to get such a defensive, even dismissive reaction. Location so close to the Minster that taxis have difficulty finding / getting to it.
