Mistletoe Cottage

We had an amazing stay in Mistletoe Cottage, a lovely warm welcome from Jayne on arrival, and an exceptionally clean and well appointed cottage. We had everything we needed and when we had a small issue with the shower Eddie came and sorted it out quickly with no hassle. Superb communication throughout, couldn't ask for anything more! Loved the welcome pack, a really lovely and thoughtful touch.

Very well appointed clean and cosy cottage, located close enough to York for trips but far enough out to feel rural. Owner very easy to deal with and great communication - 2nd stay, will be back!!

Our 2nd trip to Mistletoe Cottage. We love the space in all the rooms and the style of the property. This time we also ventured to the park and ride and took a bus into york which was really easy.

Communication from start to finish was brilliant. My family and I met Jayne at the property, where she handed us the keys, and she met us with a smile. She told us the basics of the property, and because it was cold at that time, the house was well heated. As an addition, we got bread, eggs, milk,butter, and chocolate covered teacakes, which I thought was a nice touch (the bread was one of our favourite types 😊). When we had an issue with the heating, I contacted Jane via message, and quickly, her husband came over to sort it out and show us what to do. I liked the fact that the hosts were nearby if needed. If you are looking for a lovely break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this beautiful cottage would be the place for you and your family. It was very homey,warming, welcoming, and very relaxing...a home away from home!! My family and I would definitely like to stay here again, especially in the spring or summertime, so we can take advantage of outside. 😀
