"Lovely family getaway"

Meadows Lodge is perfect for a getaway with very good and easy access to York. The lodge is superb with great facilities and a lovely homely feel. The outdoor space is fantastic too and our daughter loved being able to play outside on the trampoline and play football. The hosts Pandora and James were very helpful any questions we had and provided lots of useful information.

The only slight negative for us, was that the Pandora and James were hosting a party for friends on our first night in the lodge. We didn't mind this at all and are all for people enjoying themselves but unfortunately the noise was extremely loud and at 12.30am we had to ask for the noise to be kept down so we could sleep. Must say that this request was listened to straight away and apologised for which was appreciated. It wasn't the end of the world and certainly wouldn't stop us recommended people to stay as it is really amazing, we just think it might have been better if the lodge was blocked from being booked for this one night that's all.

"Lovely peaceful stay."

We had a lovely stay in Meadows Lodge, the outside space is a lovely bonus especially when the weather is nice. The owners were really helpful and we loved our visits from Millie the pug.

"Just perfect !!"

Stayed 2 nights with my 5 yr old granddaughter. The lodge was clean and comfy. Kitted out with everything you would need. Bed was so comfortable and bedding 100% cotton. My granddaughter loved the trampoline and footballs on the grass to the rear. She even braved the treehouse. Would stay here again for sure. Loved all your art work too.

The only criticism was some of the wooden flooring was warped and tapped over. I’m sure this is on the list for replacement though because the rest of the lodge was top quality.
