Meadows Lodge

Such a lovely, quiet, cosy, stylish lodge

The ONLY point I would make was potentially needs a small air fryer or some sort of cooker. Purely because we brought pizza & other picky bits for tea’s & couldn’t cook them! Other than this everything was perfect!

Everything was fabulous! My fiancee and I have stayed in a few lodges over the years and always been disappointed, until we stayed at Meadows Lodge! It's beautiful inside and out.The owners have really thought about the design and made it super cosy! It was spotlessly clean (which is always very important to me) and had everything you could need/ask for. We really appreciated the extra touches like fresh eggs and a lovely Irish cream left in the fridge. The location is perfect for exploring York but also feels very private and away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you Pandora & James for a lovely stay!

Location is perfect and surroundings lovely. Easy access to York city centre. The lodge itself if beautifully designed and has such a nice feel, the grounds where the lodge is situated are lovely too. Felt very cosy and welcoming when we arrived. Loved the lights and seating area outside. Would be perfect in warmer months. Hosts very helpful with directions and were very helpful with questions we had before we arrived. Will definitely be looking to return.

Stunning, cosy lodge with beautiful decor. Very clean with great amenities and close to the park and ride near York. Pandora and James couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.

Set in a quiet location. The lodge is stunning from the outside through to each room. The lodge had everything we needed for the weekend and the owners were in regular communication with me throughout my stay which was a lovely added touch. We will definitely be returning.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Heaven! The lodge has been beautifully decorated and is very warm & inviting - the furniture is so comfortable and the colours/lights make each room feel so cozy. Situated in a lovely location with parking and lots of wildlife to see around the lodge. 10 minutes away from York city centre. The perfect size for a couple or small family.

Absolutely fantastic from the first contact after booking till we left… lovely location & the lodge had beautiful decor. Pandora & James went the extra mile by insuring we could check in at a certain time, we was greeted by fresh eggs, milk & even had a visit & cuddle by “Millie” the pug. Sat outside with a glass of wine as there was blankets left for us to use while we sat out admiring the beautiful garden/ views. Local bus stop a short 3 mins walk so you can go into the shambles without driving etc. Check times in the evening as limited pickup times, but Uber into town is approx- £13. Will defo be back again for some quality time just me & my wife. Thanks again Pandora & James.
