Perfect place to stay, attention to detail is incredible. So close to York but so peaceful and relaxing.

Lack of oven, need a degree to work out the shower. 😂🙏

Lovely clean, comfortable little lodge. Gorgeous decor, fresh eggs and milk provided and everything you need for a relaxing break away.

Could do with a little more privacy as the outdoor area is on the driveway to the property and farm. Also, had the children of the hosts playing football at 9.30pm at night and kicked the ball at the lodge multiple times - could do with their play area being moved away from the lodge as it's right next to it. Otherwise can't fault our stay. Thankyou.

Perfect for the couple and small family. The Lodge is very clean, the bed is comfy and the bathroom is big. We like the decorations in the lounge with the beautiful paintings. ❤️❤️❤️.

Booked this lovely little lodge for my Partners birthday . We were greeted by Pandora with some lovely fresh eggs and made to feel welcome. We loved the hay the lodge had everything we needed and we were able to sit out in the evening with a blanket and a glass of wine watching the stars (and listening to the owls !). The lodge was situated fairly near to a busy road (which wasn’t a problem for us and couldn’t hear traffic when doors were shut) with a good bus route into York . Just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and only £2 a journey to York . Interior was well maintained and had everything you need for a short stay (good variety of books to read and plenty of choice with the sky tv). There a lovely village called millington not too far in the car where you can walk then stop for some amazing food and cake and the ramblers rest (staff here are lovely too!) Thanks Pandora and James for a lovely stay !!!

Beautifully appointed, comfortable and plenty of space with great Internet and TV facilities too. Also books and games available so the whole family had plenty to do!

I have no complaints or criticisms- everything was excellent.
