"Clean, comfortable, close to amenities and has everything needed for a great stay."

The sofas and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the welcome pack - milk for tea was appreciated. It was an easy walk into York.

The door to the twin bedroom was very difficult to open/shut due to a lovely fluffy carpet. Could do with the bottom shaving off to make it easier.

Excellent location and good size for a weekend stay

Beds were a bit worn and uncomfortable. Bedrooms doors didn't latch so banged through the night if you opened the window

It was tastefully decorated, cosy, comfortable and well equipped.

The lack of parking but we were warned about that in advance and used the cheaper pub parking.

Clean, comfortable and great location. Well-equipped kitchen. Useful information welcome folder provided. Host very helpful and responsive. Parking at nearby pub was straightforward (£5 per day). We were informed the stairs are a bit steep but it wasn't that bad. Wifi was fine.
