Stone Beck Lodge with Hot Tub

Property felt very clean and fresh. Very homely for my 2 children. loved that we didn’t feel looked upon by other lodges. we didn’t want to leave after our 2 night stay!!we had a couple of issues with the oven & electrics tripping, i rang reception and the maintenance bloke came within 5 minutes. the inflatables bank holiday special was fab and kept the kids entertained for hours. we took children’s bikes so loved a cycle round.

i think the only thing missing is a park for children

Relaxing place with a great hot tub. The whole family liked it.

There are no playgrounds and activities for kids. It is good for couples with no children.

Was lovely drive through on arrival , nice walks with kids and seeing wildlife .

On arrival in lodge the settee was dirty with stains on , cushions wernt very clean also smelt funny .... went into bathroom and had to clean shower as was dirty and hadn't been cleaned properly , loved hot tub but the leaves from the trees and the muck what came from the trees left it dirty

Lovely clean lodge, hot tub was a bonus. Very comfortable stay, we would return. It was well equipped in the kitchen area, and plenty of storage in the bedrooms.

A few staples in the kitchen would have been helpful (salt & pepper etc), we just found a very small supply of tea bags / coffee sachets and milk cartons - just about enough to 2 x cups of tea.

Nice location, not hugely over looked. Good facilities in lodge, all we needed for short stay. Tea and coffee stuff provided and basic cleaning equipment.

Beds were a bit soft for my liking, but that is a personal preference.

The location on site , very clean

Smaller than expected , esp bedrooms .. it was ok for the two of us but if 4 adults would have been very cramped.

Good location, lovely area, hot tub was good, beds were okay. Kitchen area was good. It was fairly clean, very child friendly. The on site restaurant was great for a bit of food and drink, would recommend that.

The bathroom light didn't work meaning you had to go to the toilet in the dark. There was a few dirty areas that didn't seem to have been cleaned but nothing too bad. The blind in the small room didn't quite cover the window so the sides let in a lot of light, especially when in that bed.
