Beck Hill Cottage In Brandsby

The property is set in a lovely rural location with the owners on site who were both friendly, helpful and informative. The cottage itself is cosy and clean, well heated with everything you could need for a comforting and enjoyable stay.

On arrival, there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which did alleviate as we used the shower and sink to wash etc, however reappeared again the next morning, albeit faintly. The beds were also unfortunately too small for 2 of us due to the bed frame, we could not sleep or stretch our legs out properly unless we slept diagnally or with our feet sticking out the bed. The property does have slight wear and tear to it with some of the fixture and fittings needing repair, such as the lights in the living room and main bedroom upstairs not all working.

Perfect location in between York and the dales in the heart of the countryside. Lovely well appointed cottage joined to the main house but with total privacy so can thoroughly recommend.
