Beryl Lodge with Hot Tub

Lovely location, overlooking pond. Plenty of storage for food etc. Lodge was clean and warm.

Great little family of 5 escape! We loved the hot tub and the pond just in front of us. It was lovely watching the one Swan, ducks and morehens every day. Well equipped kitchen, a shop about 4 min. drive. There's also a washing machine that I didn't know about from the description and it was handy to have as it was wet and muddy when we were there.

We liked it all. The photos don't give this place a justice, it's bigger than we expected as the kitchen, dinner and living room are an open plan.

Perfect little family break. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay, lots of space and good wifi. the hot tub is a perfect way to relax and unwind after busy day. The onsite bar and restaurant served some lovely food and nice pints also.

One of the reasons we picked this lodge was for the hot tub. Unfortunately the stopped working on the second day. We went to go in on the Saturday evening and it wasn’t very warm. On the Sunday morning I paid for late check out so we could enjoy a chilled morning and go in the hot tub. This was not even warm. I contacted the reception at 9am, they sent a lovely lady who stated that she normally looks after the hot tub at that lodge. She told us that someone had done this prior to our stay. And that they had not correctly placed the filter therefore it has shut down. She had to empty , refill and let it warm up. This was fixed by 11.15 which did not leave us time to chill in the hot tub and to be honest spoiled the trip somewhat on the Saturday evening and Sunday.

The property was brilliant, we absolutely loved the music system and the hot tub. The bathrooms and walk-in wardrobe were gorgeous. There was a high chair for our little girl which was fab.

The property was perfect there was just a couple of things, there were a lot of cobwebs all over the windows and the decking rails were full of cobwebs too. The hot tub could of had a scoop to get all the bits out that had blown off the trees while the hot tub was in use. The tv’s in both room’s you had to be stood up next to the tv to turn it on or change channel (not sure if remotes just needed new batteries)

The property on the whole was presented clean spacious & well looked after. The surroundings was kept immaculate great views over lake & quiet peaceful
