There was nothing I didn’t like.

A beautiful location, not far from York with plenty to do. The cottage had everything we needed and Claire was at hand for extra bits, like fresh towels and firewood. The cottage had clearly been renovated to excellent standards, and the Laura Ashley furnishings felt like a luxurious touch. Easy to check in and out. Friendly hosts. Dog friendly - enough space for our little dogs to have a walk on the property. Couldn't fault it 😊

Beautiful area and views what a stunning location, so peaceful with a morning walk around the WW2 aerodrome and seeing hares running over the fields. Amazing property perfectly proportioned for a holiday. Lots of space for my family of 4 one being a dog. High end property fittings adding to the luxury of the holiday, with Laura Ashley bedding and towels. Claire was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble, she is warm, friendly and accommodating. A good location central to visit York, Pickering, Harrogate, Richmond, Knaresborough Castle, Whitby and a really good museum called the Eden Camp Modern Museum. We had a great week and would definitely return

Location was perfect, in the middle of nowhere but close enough to visit places and for shopping. The cottage was homely and clean and tidy and Claire had thought of everything that you would need to stay there and was the perfect host.

Clean and good location for dog walker and people wanted to get away from it all nice little village close by 20 mins walk with pub what does really nice food Claire the host very nice person and very accommodating

Great peaceful location, the cottage we stayed in was immaculately clean and tidy. Drinks on arrival along with cookies was a lovely touch.

Minor it is and my only recommendation would be a bigger bed for the main room and black out blinds. Other than that I cannot fault the place or location its beautiful.
