The property was clean and modern with good amenities near the site. The hosts were friendly and accommodating to our needs!

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Claire sent us an email that had every tiny bit of useful info on the day we were due to arrive about everything possible needed for our stay. So so helpful. Beautiful little log burner with supplied logs couldn’t ask for any better. The kitchen had every utensil ever thought of. The welcome pack had everything needed just to sit down and relax with.

I stayed here for two nights with my 2 year old son. The main purpose of the visit was to go to the national railway museum, north yorkshire moors railway and stockeld park. Lovely and cosy accommodation and very roomy. Nice and secluded but only a short drive to the york park and rides. Nearest supermarket is only a 10 minute drive away. The information provided by the owners before the stay was very helpful and covered everything from places to visit, eat, transport. Spoiled for choice with attractions near by. Accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing value. Couldn't recommend this more if you are staying in York and have a car. Perfect stay.

Everything was perfect!! This was such a lovely, cosy little cottage perfect for a trip away with my partner and our little dog and very close to the centre of York. The host was absolutely amazing and made us feel really welcome and was always available if we needed anything at all. They were especially helpful through the little power cut we had due to the storm bringing extra wood and candles for our fire till the power came back on and keeping us in the loop. I will definitely be coming back here again!! I wish we’d booked for longer!
