Fantastic communication with owner before and during the stay. Fantastic location and cottage was amazingly comfortable and well maintained. Ideal spot to explore the local area.

It was a beautifully cottage just outside of York City centre, we enjoyed being surrounded by the peace and quiet whilst still being close enough to e joy what the city centre had to offer. The cottage itself was very comfortable and we felt very much at home!

Lovely views, beautiful countryside, cottages were very clean and so very welcoming. Staying in the 2 cottages was great for us as a family to have safe place for our grandchildren to run around outside and come and go to both cottages. Perfect location for us as we have friends/family in Stillington.

The cottage is immaculate, so clean and tidy. The host is wonderful and makes sure you have everything you could possibly need.This was our second visit and we will definitely be back.

We loved how perfectly the cottage was situated for what we wanted to do. It was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything we needed. It is super dog friendly. The grounds were very well kept and peaceful.

Everything. Location so peaceful and beautiful, immaculately clean and could see great care had gone into the furnishings and decor. Was just perfect.

Location really lovely - very rural and quiet- although the directions took us (and others, we learnt) to the house next door. The cottage was light and airy and warm and the beds were comfortable. The main bedroom was spacious with plenty of hanging space in a big cupboard. The living room was relatively comfortable (see below) and the kitchen well equipped. The parking outside was handy for unloading

There was no lock/bolt on the bathroom door. Could have been embarrassing. There were no proper towel rails in the bathroom. There was no hanging space in the second bedroom - tiny room so difficult - but even hooks on the back of the door would have helped. The kitchen was fine, except that we had to stand on a chair to retrieve the glasses from a high cupboard - not great when you are in your 70's and plenty of cupboard space lower down. There needs to be some sort of coffee table in front of the sofa and by the armchairs for drinks. We were reduced to putting cups/glasses on the floor. The instructions for using the TV were vague. Fortunately, we were quite 'techy', so we worked out what to do to access channels.
