Victoria Retreat

Great little house with excellent facilities. Parking in the driveway. Quite a safe. We were a family of four visiting our daughter at university In York. Convenient location (we had a car).

Really cosy and homely and very well decorated throughout! Had a few questions before we arrived and they were all answered super quickly.

Only a very minor thing but the upstairs doors you really had to push to shut and the bathroom lock was a little difficult

A lovely little home, obviously cared for. Both bedrooms were a good size and the beds really comfortable. Good location for getting into York centre. Owner was brilliant at replying and helping out with enquiries. Parking for 2 cars an extra bonus!

Bathroom is a little tired, but wouldn't stop us staying again

Felt like home! Very warming, and comforting place to be. On arrival there was biscuits and sweets and milk, the house was very clean and welcoming! Lovely quiet area, short drive just out of the city!

The owner communicated well before, during and after our stay. Brilliant location to York City Centre, near 2.2 miles but not too near! Lovely and clean, beautifully presented and lovely welcoming touches of water, milk and sweetie treats too! We were attending a wedding, so great to have an iron and iron board to press the shirts and a hairdryer in both bedrooms😊 The beds were so comfy. The home cosy and warm on an Autumnal weekend. Kitchen well equipped. An enclosed garden ideal for children to play safely. Living room area comfy and good dining space too! Thank you so much. Have already recommended to Friends & Family.

It was all perfect! We liked everything!

A very nice house and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Without a car it was a bit of a trek from the city centre.

It was tidy and had all the amenities you would need. A nice welcome pack was also there for us. Beds were comfy, as was the sofa. Easy to find and a nice area.

There was an issue with the TV reception. Not sure if this is just a local issue though.

It was absolutely beautiful and so homely and comfortable.
