Family Home in the Charming Coastal Town of Barry

The location suited us and we were able to visit, sitesee, and relax with friends and family.

No working light at front door, loose toilet seat downstairs, not able to open blind in bathroom, knives in kitchen knife block blunt. Battery needs replacing in smoke detector downstairs, can opener was useless needs replacing. Door to the bedroom top of stairs, sticking badly in frame, nowhere to hang coats in the hallway.

Property was clean and spacious.

Shower has to be updated. Leaking

We stayed here in half term week and it was perfect for what we needed

Lots of lovely touches like tea towels, dishcloths and dishwasher tablets,toiletries&towels etc lots of seating, easy to park, beds made nicely, really good communication with the host. Close to walk to local shop and pub. Suited us really well being close to our family who live in Barry. Deposit for having our dogs was returned within an hour or so of leaving so very impressed with that. I liked having a washing machine and being able to adjust the heating was brilliant. Overall it was very good

Not the best area at nighttime with youths. We did have some trouble but easily sorted, after the second night we went and asked them to move on as it’s right under the main bedroom, maybe people used to living in towns would be more accustomed to it, we live very rural so we didn’t like it. We would stay here again though, it was nothing against the house or host as they were both perfect

Very clean and comfortable, good sized rooms

They made sure the essentials were at the property, teabags, sugar, condiments. Very impressed

Nothing to complain about

Ideal location with family close by and great sized property for the family. Good for local attractions and walking distance to train station or as base for further adventuring.

Previous guests had caused some minor damage. We were informed of this as part of check in email. There was no time for repairs between stays and this caused us no problem for our stay. Just one of those things to work with.
