Catherine, the owner, was very warm and welcoming. The booking and check-in information were all communicated very well, and it was a straightforward process. The cottage is a beautiful rural setting, it is very tranquil and peaceful, which suited us as we wanted a quiet few days. The cottage is like a showhouse, beautifully finished and spotlessly clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It is equipped with everything you would need, a home from home. We would highly recommend Bernard and Catherine's fabulous cottage.

There was absolutely nothing not to like. We noted that they are taking steps to camouflage the shed beside the cottage with plants, which will soften the entrance, but it's a working farm, so sheds are normal. As an avid gardener, I think some colourful flowers in the pots on the patio would be the cherry on the cake.

House was spottles and over looking lake loved it

It felt like home. Beautiful scenery! The house was spacious and it had all the things we needed.

I loved every bit of the place. I give it 10/10 minus nothing.

Exceptionally clean property. Absolutely exceeded our expectations for comfort and warmth. Very generous hosts have left extra food/soap products and since we were there for Christmas they went to the extra effort of festively decorating the house which we very much appreciated. Photos do not do justice. Scenic and peaceful rural location, surrounded by rolling hills and a lake.
