Host was super communicative. Responded to all the questions within short time. The place was right next to a station. We had forgotten the cable for an electrical appliance and the host was super helpful in sending it back to us through courier. The host also shared all useful information through messages - nearest cheap parking, the directions to the place etc. And she also took our call 2 times to answer some basic questions. They even had a dossier at the property for all useful places nearby, including restaurant suggestions etc. The sheets were clean and we had a nice time.

It is in a narrow lane so taking the car inside the lane to the property (hardly 50 meters) to drop off the luggage was a bit tricky. The host had already mentioned this in the messages earlier though so we were aware abt it. Also, its a request to clean up the bathroom a little bit - there was a little mold / kabi; and the kitchen floor was not cleaned up too well. But all that can be taken care of quickly I hope. Rest everything was super nice.

Hosts were extremely easy to contact and response time was very short. Rooms were very neat and spacious. The place was in a very convenient spot. Made it easy to take public transport.

Clean and comfortable

TV has no HDMI connection for us to watch Netflix. The TV programs were all Japanese that we wouldn’t understand.

The house was spacious, with a nice big dining table and TV. Location was reasonable - close to 7/11, Lawson's and Toji train station, but had to travel a little further to tourist spots. Kyoto station and Aeon mall were quite close as well.

The floor plan in the listing showed a room with a double bed, but all the beds in the place were single beds. Beds and furniture were poorly arranged, blocking access to the closets. There was also no couch (dining table was there instead). The stairs were very steep, but this was quite common in Japan. The bedding was old and yellowing, and the cabinet/shelf and bedside table drawers were dusty.
