Spacious, clean and very comfortable Our host was helpful Plenty of restaurants nearby and close to the train

Host is very kind and helpful person. Very welcoming, and was there to say goodbye to us as well. Flat is bigger than any that we stayed in Japan, 2 separate rooms in opposite sides of the apartment with middle part being living room and the kitchen. It definitely exceeded our expectations as family, and was worth the price.

The host was super nice and helpful. Property was very clean. Amenities were good. Walking distance to Nishiki market with a lot of cafes and restaurants along the way.

Signage could have been more prominent.

This was an outstanding place to stay in Kyoto. The guesthouse was beautifully and comfortably set up, with attention to every little detail to make it comfortable and homely. The location was also excellent, a short walk to trains, nishiki market, restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend staying here.

The place was very conveniently located, within walking distance to Nishiki market and Metro stop. It was a large comfortable space for a family of four to stretch out and have as our home base to travel and explore Kyoto, so much better option than small hotel room. The host was so kind, and used google translate to help explain everything in the house. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very spacious. We ate out, so did not use the kitchen, but everything was available to cook yourself.

Nothing really. Place is up a set of steps, so for larger luggage, the host can have you use the tiny elevator (for luggage only).

The host was super helpful, the house is huge and check ins was swift.

It may not be the things I didn't like, but I didn't explore the public transport options. Everything is literally walks away, so no complain, except maybe for the stairs to the property. They have elevator, but it is for the owner's usage, but I'm sure if the need arise, one could ask to use.

The location is great and the owner is really nice and helpful. Handy to have a washing machine.
