Would highly recommend! The space itself was beautiful, with lovely interior design elements and amenities like a deep soaking tub overlooking a little garden. The owner was very helpful and friendly, including providing local snacks + beverages in the kitchen when we arrived and calling a taxi for us at the end of our stay.

Location can be a little tough because Kyotos transport isn’t as dense as Osaka or Tokyo but it was still possible to get to public transit by foot to access majority of sites. Taxis are more plentiful in Kyoto than other cities.

I liked so many things about this property! Where do I begin! Located in walking distance to station, which meant easy access to the many places we visited. The property was well equipped with high quality amenities and treats! Thank you Rachel for all my little vegan treats, this was so thoughtful of you! The shower was AMAZING! beds super comfy, and plenty of space. Our host Rachel was super friendly and helpful. If you are thinking about booking, and want a real traditional feel to your stay along with your home comforts- DO IT NOW! Would highly recommend!

Host welcomed us warmly, Rooms exceeded expectations by far. Service is king here! The host knows how to make a guests feel comfortable and happy. If more than 10 would be possible, the Imakumano Terrace Hotel would get it! If you want to visit in Kyoto, stay there!
