Rutland cottage

Marie the host is a very lovely person very helpful lives couple of minutes away so on hand if needed. Lovely cottage with enclosed gardens all round perfect for pets. Parking plot outside gate. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need utensils washing machine fridge/freezer cooker etc. Bedding lovely and clean plenty of storage cupboard for clothes etc.Rooms are a good size.

The only things that I could fault was the draughts coming through windows you would expect this from an old cottage but some windows wouldn't close properly. Could also do with redecorating throughout paint flaking off walls old damp patches on ceiling but we did book outside of season and I'm sure Marie will have all this in hand.

Very homely cottage and was very enjoyable

The Key box outside the cottage was quite stiff not sure if it was just the cold but definitely struggled, other than that everything was lovely

I love that it's on its own with garden and dogs are allowed

The cottage could probably do with a refresh, but it was comfortable for our stay for a family funeral

Lots of character if you ever want to sell please let me know it needs some tlc

Lovely cottage. Plenty of room. Very well equipped. Clean and tidy. Warm and welcoming. Central location.

Comfortable beds, good heating, secure fenced garden for dogs. Walking distance to Morrisons. 15min drive to nice beach by West Kilbride golf course.

Place needs modernising, fridge is too small for self catering, front door was a bit tricky & so was getting tele to work (but fair on host, who helped via sms to get it working), it only offers free channels. Was hoping to get away from loud fireworks, sadly they went off 3 days in row over Guy Fawkes (warning for owners with frightened pets). Very basic stock when comes to dishes.. no tupperware & additional cooking items (i.e. salad & mix bowl, colander/strainer). Space for only one vehicle.
