Rutland cottage

The location was fab. Quick walk to the beach, or to Morrison's supermarket. There is a private garden and space to park one car.

The property was very dated. There was a strong smell of silicone as we entered the garden. The sleeping arrangements should have been better described. There was no privacy. One bed in the living room, one very small double in a room off another bedroom. So when we needed the bathroom we walked though other rooms waking them up. Same in the morning disturbing my daughter's sleep, when I wanted to use the kitchen. The kitchen crockery was cracked and mismatched. The fridge hasn't big enough to store enough food for a family. We also had to wash the towels to remove the stale smell.

Location 10 mins walk from coast

Bathroom shower, needs updating was very poor Step down into bedroom an accident waiting to happen as couldnt see it at night.

The garden was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed, except for scissors. The heating was good. Should be fine for a winter stay. Plenty of space for a family with lively boys. Thanks

The shower curtain needs a clean at the bottom. The TV was limited as for each programme we chose it asked us to add a Sky viewer card.

The location was fab and nice and quiet with off-road parking

It is extremely dated... Needs a lot of updating throughout. Smelt a bit fusty when we arrived...and clearly had damp or leaks in past as water marks and flakey paint in most rooms. We had a good time despite

Property was damp and dank smelling. The whole place needs a complete makeover , including painting. New blinds as ones installed are old with slats missing, broken, The bath surround was filthy, kitchen was terrible with old microwave, toaster and leaking kitchen sink. The bedrooms weren't much better with old uncomfotable beds. I slept on top of the covers fully clothed.The garden and pathway overgrown.it was probably the worst holiday experience my disabled wife and I have ever had. Never stayed second night. Wouldn't have stayed first night but my wife was tired. It is outdated and all furniture and furnishings look as if they've been bought at a cheap second hand shop. It looks like the Before version in a Homes under the Hammer program. NOT RECOMMENDED.
