Charles's Street

The property was very clean and tidy, some lovely period features, comfortable beds, and lots of seating in various areas. We particularly liked the sunroom at the back.

Some of the lamps didn’t work or had energy saver bulbs which didn’t show much light with the big lampshades. There was also a pipe above the kitchen window outside which poured lots of water down whenever an upstairs shower was used, maybe a pipe cover missing ? I am only saying about this issue because it could cause major damp problems if not rectified, it didn’t impact us particularly.

Excellent location and size, good hosts

Fantastic accommodation, loads of room for the whole family. 100m from the seafront and a children’s playground. 500m from town centre. Just about perfect!

A warm and cosy house. Very close to the beach. Very close to all shopping areas.

Rear steps / handrail was a concern. Top of the house had a few wasps over our visit , who were not easy to remove.

The size of the house suited our whole family. It was clean and well equipped. The location was ideal within a short distance of the town, ferry, beach & park.

The heating system could do with a pressure test as there is obviously leaks somewhere causing the boiler pressure to drop therefore having to be re-pressurised everyday. The ground floor back bedroom could also do with an additional heater.

The location is perfect for us - we can walk our dog at the top of the road near the beach or walk into the town. So much space in the house and it is so well equipped. Beds are comfortable and showers are hot. Everything was very clean.

Just the brown settee is the lounge is a bit musty smelling. The oven kept turning off and on - a slight lose connection.
