The house is spacious, and the beds are firm. You can use public transportation like historic trams or bus (500, 207) to get to Porto.

There are some things that are not mentioned in the description that You should consider before booking this location. The airport is a bit too close. The planes have a very good chance to wake You up at 6.30. There is a heavy CONSTRUCTION site next to the house. It starts at 7.45 and is really loud for about 10h. There is a sewer pumping station, ETAR Sobreiras, nearby, so the air in and around the house smells terrible. Last but not least, the house screams for maintenance - only one half of the gate opens, garage doesn't open at all and plants obstruct entry, washing mashine and dishwasher filters were clogged, chairs are falling apart, fence is rusty, etc. Please consider those additional factors before booking, and if you still decide to book, don't count on any wine or watermelon for greetings - it won't be there:)

Great location. Close to restaurants and supermarket Host was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc. House was spacious.

Porto flight path meant Planes flying directly overhead from 6am until the late evening. (11pm) issues with hot water in one of the bathrooms and kitchen

Lovely Spacious property with 5 en-suites which for 6 ladies was perfect! We also enjoyed the communal areas which allowed us to crash from sightseeing but still be together. Hosting was great with quick and easy communications. We used bolts / Ubers to get around which were cheap and easy. 10 mins in a taxi to old town for less than €10 for 6! Supermarket 5 mins walk. 5 mins to riverside and access to buses and the old tram.

The house was great. Really easy to get to the centre, including using the old-fashioned trams along the river. Local amenities were close by. And Francisca, the host, was super helpful.
