OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment

Great city and the apartment is well positioned to explore it all.

Great location in the walled town of Lucca. We enjoyed staying here as a family with our own space and being able to cook our own meals. Bedroom with divided wall and bathroom upstairs with the living space, kitchen and second toilet downstairs straight off street for easy access into the apartment. Free parking about 10 mins walk away.

Complessivamente buona struttura: accesso diretto su una piazza, in centro storico, con bar vicino. Serratura elettronica. Un po’ di umidità all’interno, soprattutto bagno, ma dotato di comoda zona doccia. Letto confortevole. Molto chiasso dalla strada durante la notte per presenza di raggruppamenti di giovani.

Great location and the host was super helpful. Lucca was well worth a visit.

My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect just around the corner from several bars, which we loved - but be aware it can be noisy at night and also early morning if the bin collection is happening. The disadvantage about this place if you carry a lot of luggage is that there is nowhere to leave your luggage if you arrive early or leave late. Also when I booked it said the property would contact you 72 hours in advance with check-in details - we had to chase for that as I never got an email. Overall a nice stay but also space for improvements.

Excellent location near restaurants, shops, and the historic walls of Lucca. It was very easy to access the property and the host was very responsive to questions. It was a very hot few days in Lucca and we were grateful for the air conditioning.

We were hoping to do a little more cooking and the kitchen could have had a few more supplies.

The location was great, and the apartment did have plenty of space.

On review, lots of the elements mentioned in the property features booking.com listing weren’t supplied, including baggage storage which was mentioned (and not flagged as additional). We had a really unfortunate experience with the bathroom as it smelt quite bad of drainage/sewerage, especially at night time, and please be aware that there are not two separate rooms in this property; it is one large room with a small partition wall between the beds. The photos don’t match up exactly, and there is no television even though streaming services etc are mentioned,

Extremely convenient location in the old city center. It is possible to get just at the door of the apartment to leave the luggage and then you can stay either really close using a paid parking or go just 700m away to use huge free parking lot. Owner provides all the details upon arrival. Apartment very clean, a bit basic but value/price ratio 10/10.
