OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment

Spacious apartment in a convenient location. Good wifi.

Location and size. General amenity was satisfactory. Beds were comfortable.

The kitchen lacked equipment and utensils, e.g. one spoon, no teaspoons, no tea towels, no kettle for boiling water, no tea maker. Some cooking pots were incompatible with the induction cooktop. There was no TV - a flatscreen TV and streaming service were advertised as being at the property. The street outside was noisy every night until early hours of the morning, from customers of nearby bars. There was no soundproofing and so street noise was also an issue - you could clearly hear street conversations throughout the day. Many of these issues have been mentioned in reviews over a few years. It’s a shame they haven’t been addressed as the property has a lot of potential given its size and location.

Size of the property was great easily accommodate a family of four. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. The location is also fantastic can be a little busy over the weekend nights but we really enjoyed the opertunity to mix with the locals.

Some constructive comments. The property would benefit from the addition of a TV, a electric kettle, iron and ironing board and more clothes hangers. These are small additions and would benefit guests staying longer than a few nights.

Kitchen was not well stocked with regards to a propper knive and cooking utensils. Kitchen towels had to be requested as well as a bottle opener. Unfortunately the coffee pot was dirty. The shower urgently needs a proper cleaning since it’s moldy in the corners. Cleaning personel should also look under the bed since it was quite dusty underneath. Nice place but definitely room for improvement.

Locality was very good, but at night it was vegy laudy.

Horibble smell at all house. Not clean. Dirty floor. Mold on the walls….

Perfectly located. Communication is on the highest level. Old house vibe.
