Parking right next to the apartment, easy to get into the property and easy to find. Quiet location. Providing things for breakfast like croissants etc was nice touch. Good communication with host before and after stay.

Cleanliness of kitchen - for example fridge had crumbs from previous occupant, and sugar granules on the surfaces, and some drawers were grubby, with dust and dirt etc, thick dust on the shelving near sofa, and clump of hair on artificial plant between the two floors Downstairs is very small. We couldn't eat outside because of lots of mosquitos, so ended up eating indoors. We had to erect the table and chairs ourselves which was stored folded in a corner, and this left no floor space. No air conditioners so was incredibly hot (although was a fan, it was so hot even this didn't help), and couldn't open the doors because of the mosquitos.

A very homely property, genuine feel of staying in someone's much loved home. Very clean and tidy. Although the accommodation was on a room only basis, the hosts very kindly left some supplies, tea bags, coffee, biscuits, some milk and croissants which was very much appreciated - thank you. A little way out of Lucca and too far to walk in reality but with a bike or a car it is within easy reach. Very useful to have some app on any mobile phone to help locate the property. If you didn't want to stay in Lucca and wanted to self cater then I can highly recommend here.

We loved the location, very close to some really good pasticeria, Lucca and not very far from Viareggio. Good price and the host was communicative. Also quiet area, great for relaxation.
