Pontone on the sea apartment

The apartment was in a great location with access to Amalfi coast beach by foot which was great. the view of the sea was terrific. Maria and her family were warm, welcoming and always willing to help.

Beautiful view over Amalfi town, there is a bus that can bring you back up (or down) to Pontone and steps to go down each day, small cosy apartment with a nice restaurant and shop a minute or two walk away. Maria is a lovely host and met us at the bus stop to pick up our luggage and was always very quick to answer any questions we had. Also a short walk to a trail (valle delle ferriere) that has a lovely waterfall at the end

Lovely house above the host’s home. The view was exceptional and the host Maria was very nice and helpful.

Quite far from Amalfi itself - we had to depend on a bus that is not reliable or walk up//down over 1000 steps. Shower was not working properly, the fixture was broken. The oven was also broken - when we spoke to the host about this she was very apologetic and let us use her own oven.

Too far a walk to the apt. No help with bags going in. Person who met us didn't tell us about how far the apt was straight up.

The view was incredible and the location was great, felt like authentic Italy!

The view from our apartment was amazing!! The communication with Maria was so easy before and during our stay she was always available and made sure we have all we need. The checking was super easy and hussle free. The apartment had the character we were looking for coming to Scala and had everything we needed. Maria has truly beautiful home where we felt so welcomed and only felt sad to leave so early. You feel the love they put into their beautiful house. We will definitely stay in touch with Maria and come back again. PS. Thank you Maria for delicious lemon coffee!! We will make it again ourselves again remembering our Amalfi adventures.

Absolutely not fault of the property but we wished for better weather for May. According to locals it was very unusual cloudy and rainy. We had bad luck but now we have even more reasons to come back again. May be a suggestion to add hairdryer in the room, but it is very minor thing and not a big deal.

Great location with beautiful views and away from the tourist centre of Amalfi. The host was exceptionally helpful and kind. The apartment was beautiful and clean.

Was a little difficult to find but the host was clear in their directions.
