Superb location. Excellent value. Really friendly owners

Such a lovely little cottage. Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Fully equipped with everything you need. Rural and very peaceful. We had a lovely weekend and would happily stay here again.

A very nice cozy little place to call home away from home for a few days, bed was VERY comfortable all facilities were very good, Wallace the Duck was very friendly. :D

Only downside was wifi cut out mid movie when we were settling down, not a worry managed to use my phone signal for network, but that’s expected and was warned it could get iffy out in the sticks :)

Great little hideaway that has everything that you need. Compact but charming. Made to feel very welcome and was great that we could also bring our dog.

Location, although not well sign posted , not even a sign on gate , just said keep gate shut??

The OLD cobwebs were so bad we had to buy an extendable duster immediately! 23 spiders some dead some not were In the ceiling! The dust on cobwebs was awful! We have been spoiled over the years with going self catering in this country, usually there’s a pint of milk and a little snack local to the area , no nothing like this . This is usually a minimum added extra for free but this has been the most expensive stay per night and the least clean and with no kindness put in. The vase of flowers from were needing the water changed so they hadn’t been fresh that day either see photos. We opened draw in hall to find a Christmas decoration, just laziness!My husband stopped me cleaning the kettle as the inside was full of white gritty bits so I had to boil a pot of bottled water to make a cuppa , not the normal activity on holiday.We even bought kitchen rolls . I did mention to the owner we had to get milk but the hint didn’t register ! The state of the dead roses outside the door was off putting enough, a 5 minute job would make the entrance a little less neglected looking. I wish I’d brought my secateurs!! Will we go back ? Not a chance to this house but the area around Bath is lovely such a shame this house could be an absolute dream if the owners did a bit more for their customers!!

Quiet, beautiful location. Friendly hosts. Close to lovely walking country and pretty villages. Easy access to Bath and Salisbury area if you wish to visit those places.
