Everything was good

Ancient building in the centre of Lewes, modernised and spacious inside. Fully equipped kitchen. Our host welcomed us and provided a pint of milk to get us started. Lots of useful leaflets on the area.

No fault of the host, but a bit noisy with trucks outside. Felt slightly uncomfortable to some of the party being at sub-basement level (reducing natural light) & thought this should have been stated in the property info.

Great location for nearby Pelham House wedding venue.

Nice layout, comfortable, and spacious. Had everything you could need to live in and cook. Beds were comfortable and cosy. Sara was such a lovely soul and accommodating. Made us feel relaxed. Good location in the heart of Lewes on the door step of the castle and history itself. Even the buildings its self has a lot of history.

Nothing to dislike… is clean, just needs deep clean like tap rims, skirting, walls near sinks, lights etc…

Host communicated well and met me to handover keys and show me the property. Property is well located.

The main double bed mattress was extremely poor. I tried to tell the host offline but she simply told me it was a semi-orthopaedic bed. It was not. It was old, had no support and was very uncomfortable. The property was generally nice and clean but unfortunately there were some stray hairs in the fridge and bathroom. All windows are at near ceiling height so the property feels claustrophobic and lacking natural light. Passers by can look down into all rooms. There is no parking with the property but there is a public car park nearby.
