A great location in a lovely town

The weather. The property could have been improved with double glazing.

Large, warm & comfortable apartment right in the centre of town. Sarah is always on hand to answer any questions & provide what you need.

The location is great. The property is not particularly prepossessing from the outside, but it is very spacious and comfortable inside, with a huge sitting room, a good sized adjoining kitchen in open plan, and a corridor leading to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. My wife and I have stayed here once before, and have found it wonderfully convenient. I understand from Sara, our host, that she will be renovating the property in the year ahead, which I'm sure it will be done to a good standard.

The double bed mattress is too soft for my liking – a bit too springy. But to each his own. Parking can be a problem, but it never has been for us. There is a little known, inexpensive carpark just above the property and very near the castle, which is only two or three minutes' walk. Sara also has tickets, costing only £1.20, that entitle you to park in the immediate area all day, though the parking spaces in the immediate area are very few.

Location was excellent and the flat was roomy with everything you would need for a short stay. The host was very responsive

The property felt a bit tired, in need of a spruce up. The bed in the smaller bedroom was uncomfortable

Spacious, clean and tidy, everything there that we needed, and very conveniently situated in the winding little streets of Lewes, a lovely little town. Sara was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The property is at the head of a relatively quiet no- through - road and so we were able to unload and load the car right by the front door.

Nothing really; you might have to park a little way away. Not Sara ‘s fault!

Location

Went for son's PhD, you need one to work the TV. Pub next door noisy but they did go quiet after 10 in the evening.

Some basics were left for us ,plus flowers L Kitchen quite well equipped & iron/board/hairdryer available Host arrived immediately to replace light bulb etc

Better system for closing/ opening windows needed: no good for short people.Very easy place to manage in ideal, central location.
