Ammoa Beach Residences

Location was amazing

Serifos island is heaven, and Ammoa is a dream. The location is perfect, right on beautiful Vagia beach, and each of the beachfront properties is literally 20 steps from the water. The maisonettes are very well appointed, with all the comforts one might need. We especially liked the front porch with the big pillows under a pergola - the light during the day was beautiful, and the sunsets from there magnificent. Our maisonette also had a 1st floor veranda, with more sunbeds and excellent views too. The houses were kept very clean by the cleaning personnel. The area is super quiet and secluded - I am an early morning riser, and on many occasions I had the whole beach to myself for a morning swim. It is the perfect place as a base to explore Serifos, or to just sit tight and relax. Five days there felt like ten, in terms of peace and relaxation. I am not a big fan of returning to the same places, but I feel like Ammoa will be somewhere I would love to stay again.

Slightly inconvenient that there is a bedroom upstairs on the first floor, but the closest bathroom to it is on the ground floor. The staircase connecting the floors can be a little tricky for people with climacophobia or mobility issues.

When it gets very windy it is difficult to sit outside. One of the bedrooms is underground but this is clearly noted in the description

The location is stanning right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Serifos. Staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs. Linen and electrical appliances were of very high quality. We had a very peaceful and memorable experience.

The location and proximity to the beach

The property was very dysfunctional in terms of the layout of the apartment. The only bathroom was situated at the basement level leaving that if you were in the upper floor on the master bedroom, you had to walk down 2 levels to go to the bathroom. The stairs were steep and not well designed for people yo smoothly move between floors.

Beautiful location, spacious and luxurious accommodation. Comfortable beds, great shower, very well stocked kitchen. All the staff, from the reception to the cleaners, were very friendly, responsive, eager to help and efficient.
