Alfieri Rooms - Amalfi coast

The staircase, no joke. After the second time fumbling around, we got use to 2-3 different paths! Made for a fun challenge!

Smaller than expected.

Inside the ally’s of atarani, 10 minutes walk from amalfi coast, next to very nice restaurants

The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good but probably because it’s a small hidden place between many apartments

The room had what is needed for a short stay, not a big place. The location 10 min walk to Amalfi and more budget friendly. Close there was a nice beach.

Take good look to location where you stay as the gps does not work very good in between small streets and it is very easy to get lost. But neighbours are helpful to find a place.

there was a lot of steps to the apartment which is hard with luggage - not high up just quite far

great location, relatively easy to get to compared to others on the coast. easy walk down to the beach

Good location, glad we were in the quieter part of town, rather than being in Amalfi which was crazy busy. Was a really comfy bed, shower was good once you figured out how to use it. Enough space to spread stuff out with a nice couch and dining table.

Lack of Amenities. 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 adults for 4 nights! Only 2 towels, and no spare pillow cases for the spare pillows. Owner has tried to save money in all the wrong places, considering this isn't a cheap apartment. Also states there is a washing machine to use, but had to ask for access as it was locked, only to find it stuffed full of the apartments cleaning needs, sheets, towels etc, so had to unload all their washing first. This remained like this the entire stay, I guess this was the owners way of saying don't use our washing machine. Where the bed is located upstairs gets quite hot at night as the air-con is located downstairs and the cooling doesn't rise, wouldn't like to test this out in 40 + degree days. It is a bit of a slog to get up to the apartment, so pack light.

The location was excellent. Atrani is around a 10min walk from Amalfi. Beautiful little streets! there are only a few restaurants in this town but they are less crowded and less expensive than Amalfi. I also found the service was more enjoyable in this town.

There were a few things we didn’t like about this stay. The space in the room was very small, I understand this area is highly demanded but the bed space was really tight. It seems like the internet in the area is not great but specifically the internet in the room was not good either as we didn’t get connection while connected to the Wi-Fi provided. Also we were not given soap or shampoo, that’s generally provided at other Airbnbs/hotels. The AC would constantly shut down, I think it was set up to auto turn off after some time, we could not figure out how to fix it. Lastly the check out was a bit early at 10am.

the space was beautiful, being in the hills of the town was part of the charm.

There are a lot of steps to get to the room, twist and turns. I could not find my way back at night. I could not get the shower to work no matter how many time I tried.

It was close enough to walk to Amalfi.

The room smelled strongly of bleach when we arrived which wasn't too pleasant.
