Detached Bungalow in North Cornwall

Great location, great site

Beds were a little uncomfortable

This bungalow was amazing. It is at the back of the complex so it was peaceful all week, with parking right out front. The living area and kitchen were tardis-like for space and the bedrooms had great storage and super comfy beds, bedding and pillows. The shower was wonderful and everywhere was immaculately clean. Access was simple, and communication from Paula was excellent, giving us all the information before we arrived, making ‘check in’ super stress-free. The folder in the games cupboard had all the guides/instructions for everything at the property and even the locations of local supermarkets which was brilliantly useful. We loved being able to self cater our holiday with such ease and found the sofas exceedingly comfortable for an evening in front of a film after a good 4 hours of exploratory hiking. It was perfect as a central base and we were able to visit Tintagel, Boscastle, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, Bodmin Jail, Bodmin Moor, Healey’s Cider Farm, St Michael’s Mount and Land’s End without much time in the car. The holiday park itself has lovely walks and a great swimming pool/jacuzzi for which the host, provides memberships with the booking. The pool was crystal clear and the surrounds were super clean. This is a superb place to stay, and we have recommended it far and wide, my parents in particular want to explore Cornwall and I hope they use this place.

Great parking right outside. Very comfortable bungalow with access to Netflix and pool. Well set up kitchen.

Took a little bit to work out shower temperature adjustment ( we are from OS).

The bungalow is spacious and clean. It is nearby a lot of interesting places. We were able to use the swimming pool facilities which is great and we enjoyed it. Although we have to book in advanced. The host, Paula, is very easy to contact and can sort things out in a timely manner if ever you need help.

None that I can think of.

Nice position close to all amenities and also quiet location. Bungalow had everything and very comfortable. We were there to actually to view a couple of properties for sale via appointments so it was good to visit and get a feeling of what was going on and what the area offered.

There was nothing really that anyone could dislike in the property but the only problem I personally had was due to a stroke and reduced mobility I had great difficulty in getting into the shower and the shower tray extremely slippery and certainly needed a mat.

Enjoyed the location and the facilities especially the swimming pool.

No provision of towels including tea towels.

Everything. It was perfect for our stay, and we really enjoyed the park and the property

The location was lovely and quiet, and the bungalow was clean, cosy, and exactly what I was hoping for after a 400 mile drive. The Hengar Manor site provided plenty of space to go for a walk to enjoy the peace and quiet, shop on site for any bits and bobs. It was great!
