Very clean, tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed, close to all attractions. Breakfast is in nearby cafeteria, fresh pastries and coffee.

If you are looking for experience to spend a night in the cave it’s as close as you can get. It’s a luxury cave, but it still has a dump and musty smell. 3 AC units are working constantly to circulate the air and it’s helping. And there is construction in the next building, they are trying to keep noise under control, but it’s there. We were told about it the day before arrival, when it was too late to change our accommodation.

The suite is simply amazing- comfortable, spacious, clean and includes dishes, kettle, towels, toiletries, slippers, bathrobes. We have received also a welcome gift with bottles of water and Prosecco bottle. Smart systems are also great- ambient music, air conditioning and air recuperation.

Air conditioning was a bit too noisy during night, but it was possible to adjust it to lower power at the panel. So this is nothing to bother as it is possible to adjust. For the next time I will adjust it before sleeping time, that’s all.

What we liked most was the promptness and helpfulness of the host. The appartment is extremely comfortable and equipped with state of the art features. It was a great experience to live for few days in a real cave.

The humidity. Despite the dehumidifiers which were working around the clock, humidity was persistent. it is definitely a unique experience but not for those with astma problems.

The hotel staff is absolutely helpful. Very responsive and helpful to assist in booking taxi, restaurant suggestions and booking etc.

An oasis in Matera. We were blown away by the room and the features. The hosts were extremely accommodating arranging self check in and parking for us. We would love to come here again.

What a gem in the historic centre of Matera! The space is absolutely perfect for a couple, so much thought has been put into making this an authentic yet modern space. The hosts were also lovely and made us feel very welcome.
