Boutique Cottage In The Heart Of Buxton Town

Loved the location,really quite ,cozy.

Windows would not open in the double bedroom and living room .I used keys but to no avail,so room was very stuffy,I am asthmatic so would have liked the window open.Too many cushion and mats in room.Mouldy jam in cupboard.

A perfectly sized cottage incredibly handy for the market square - and the buses. Pleasant decor, and a really lovely little living room.

Unfortunately there were a string of minor issues - the worst being a leaky pipe in the bathroom. We had to turn off an isolator valve to stop it causing major issues. There was also a missing bin which we had to ask about and the cooker and fridge were both a bit fiddly to get to the right temperature. Our host was reassuring, but on balance I think it might have been better to arrange a plumber.

The house felt extremely homely and comfortable the moment we walked in. Every facility that we needed was there (apart from egg cups, so we bought some 😉). Water nice and hot and central heating was awesome

Double bed was comfortable but old and creaky.
