Lovely and peaceful and everything we needed for a two night stay

Road up extremely uneven, we have a 4x4 but had we been in our friends car we would have struggled.

Last mile of road up to lodge was unsealed with large potholes

The outlook was great, splendid view across the Moray Firth. It was comfortable enough and well equipped. The bed in the double room was a standard double ( small), a bit disappointing. Handy for visits to the coast by car. Good hot tub. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Nice fluffy towels. Quite a lot of local wild-life.

Awkward access, the directions were not adequate, the access following the instructions left us unable to find the property. The signage was poor. We had to ring the contact number to find out how to get to the lodge. There were actually two lodges which are very isolated and remote. Using our own resources allowed us to get out and back from the lodge. No walks local to the lodge, always needed to use the car. Very rough access roads. No internet. Would mot be suitable for anyone with a disability.

We had such a lovely 5 night stay here with the family. The views were stunning, the lodge was clean, spacious and tidy. We relaxed in the hot tub at the end of a busy day exploring. Lots to do around Forres. Cannot wait to visit again soon! Thanks so much!

Excellent accommodation in a great location.

Excellent location, amazing views. Spacious lodge, very comfortable with everything you need. Hot tub a huge plus and loved seeing the deer wandering through the driveway. So relaxing... loved it.

The drive to get to the Elgin road is a bit bumpy :0)
