Broken Barbecue, sticky stiff wardrobe doors - need mending.

The house had amazing location, it was spacious, it had high ceilings and lots of light. The kitchen was well equipped. The host had left some juice for us and she sent us detailed information about the surroundings.

It was extremely dirty, I found hair, dust and paper bits from chopsticks in the utensil draw, piece of plastic in the dish washer. There was visible dust on light switches, ceiling fans and near the bed. The wardrobe smelled mold, the doors could not open. The entrance door was stuck and we struggled going in and out. The umbrella was broken, the treads on the railing were broken, the paint on the doors were falling off, the grill was broken, the sun-bed was broken, tiles in bathroom were cracked, missing wood on the veranda, the pillow were yellow and did not smell good, the towels were stained and did not smell fresh. It is such a shame, because with a bit of an effort it could be the perfect place.

Very central to all tourist attractions, walking distance to restaurants, main waterfront, safe and very peaceful. The host was very thoughtful and left milk and orange juice in the fridge for when we arrived.

Front door was hard to get open, needs to be looked at. Gas braai was not working. There was a weber which we did not use as we did not want to have to clean afterwards. Toilet upstairs needs a paint and the railing outside the main bedroom.

It was in a great position. Did, however think the apartment was the gated Thesan island

cupboard doors terrible, could not open or close them. door to main bedroom does not work. blitz for a pate i made, didn’t work. no dishwashing tablets- just 1. no where to buy in immediate area. Doors going out from dining room- do not open.

Carla made our stay very special. The amenities was more then any other place we stayed. She really thought about everything. The location is great and was easy to visit places around.
