Casa da Porta Azul

Amazing little house with great interior design flowing to a completely private little courtyard. Coffee capsules were provided, which was a nice touch. Some good TV channels available.

Parking. I'm sure I filtered my search to include only the properties with (free) parking available. Upon booking I was advised I should park 100m down the road, which I did ( by the canal), but got a ticket in the morning. It was the hassle of having to go to the police station to pay the fine that was a worse punishment than €30. Some clearer instructions should be given about the parking as it is not immediately obvious (to a foreigner) what are the rules.

It was very comfortable & easy access. The location was great could walk to everything.

Excellent location. The house was very well laid out and comfortable. While we we're there the weather was cold and rainy but the heating worked very well, so we were not cold. There were extra blankets to use. The area was quiet and close to the canals and restaurants.

Perfect location and very comfortable property. It felt homely and cosy and it's full of charm. The neighbourhood is very quiet but still close to all amenities.

I was sad to find out there was no wood for the wood burner. It was the feature I was looking forward to the most as the evenings get quite cold in November.

Quiet. Old town location.

No outside parking in narrow 1 way lane. Would have been good to advise that plenty of all day free parking just over the canal via a footbridge . 100 meters walk . Then no need to drive into the old town 1 way narrow lanes.
