AKTI Homes Matala

The location was great, centrally located and close to the beach and main area of Matala. Lots of good restaurants and cute shops. The key collection from the host was easy, she has a shop in the main square to collect it from her.

Sadly, there were not enough towels for 4 travellers, the wifi did not work as described, the one bathroom was missing a toilet seat and there was no shampoo or conditioner. The hot tub did not seem very clean so we did not use (plus lack of towels). The host was not responsive over booking.com messaging unfortunately, so if you are seeking information ahead of time, recommend whatsapp. The beds were also heavily springy and uncomfortable, I would recommend a mattress topper.

L emplacement est ideal en mi saison, au cœur du village et à 150m de la plage. Pas trop bruyant car en avril le bar sous nos fenêtres était fermé le soir. Maria est très accueillante

Leider regnete es in die Küche rein.Es tropfte vom Dach rein.Wir hatten sehr viel Regen. Hatten das Haus Nr.1.Und ausserdem sehr viele Kakerlaken. mehr als 18 Stück. Unter dem Küchenwaschbecken lag ein Spray .also ist das Problem bekannt. Fauliger Geruch im ganzen Haus.Wir würden nicht wieder buchen.Lieber etwas weiter weg von Matala.Und eher als Tagestourist kommen.

Le sens de l'hospitalité crétois n'est pas une légende. Le lieu est magnifique.

Die Lage war super. Sehr zentral und nah zum Strand. Wir haben die Dachterrasse mit dem Whirlpool sehr genossen. Maria war unfassbar nett. Am Abreisetag durften wir noch länger bleiben und das Haus den ganzen Tag nutzen, weil Nebensaison war. Wir waren im März dort. In Matala war kaum etwas geöffnet, deshalb war es sehr ruhig. Für uns als Familie war es super.
