Everything was perfect.

Unfortunately the smell from the drains

The information about the booking as well as the handover of the keys was smooth and well organised by the host. The location of the apartment next to the heart of Matala is perfect. We also didn't face any issues with the WiFi as others stated. The whole house and the interior looks modern and new, unfortunately looks are not always true...

Many pieces of furniture are either really worn (my bed was missing two slats) or miss their functionality (showers with no doors, so using them floods the whole floor), despite looking nice. But now to the two things which really impact my review: while the whirlpool was one of the main reasons for my booking and is situated on a nice terrace, there was so much chlorine in it that our skin immediately started itching after two minutes! I understand the necessity of chlorine for hygienic reasons but there were two huge tabs (!!!) in the filter (I have at home a full size pool and use this amount for ten times the water and two weeks!). This was likely a PH value of maybe 3 and we have a 5 year old! Second thing: the last guests and/or whoever cleaned this apartment was a heavy smoker. Both sleeping rooms had a very strong smell of smoke which we couldn't get rid of even when opening the windows for several hours. Maria, since I returned the key to another lady (your sister?) I couldn't tell you personally but chlorine and smoke are two things which are an absolute no-go and even violate your own rental terms!

We loved our stay at AKTI homes. The house was in a great location, could be at the sea in 1 minute, even less to the bars and restaurants. The view of the caves from the balcony was beautiful and was lovely relaxing in the hot tub listening to live music being played locally floating through the air. Great finishes on appliances and comfy beds. The owner met us on arrival and she was lovely. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Nothing the place was amazing!

Perfect space for 3 people. Hot tub was lovely, kitchen well equipped, perfect location.

The immediate proximity with the center of the city. The very short distance with the beach.

The pictures of the appartment and of the view are mixed bteween the big appartment and the 2 other smaller ones.

just in the center. great terrace with jacuzzi included where you can hear the amazing music of the main square locals. everything quite new. only seconds walking to get to the beach.

spiral staircase not very comfortable, and a bit dangerous if you travel with babies.

The apartments are brand new, the host Maria was very kind to let us choose ours. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Matala and, at the same time, close to the shore. Thank you for everything.

Friendly owner (Maria), walking distance to two amazing beaches and everything else in the town of Matala. Lots of room in the apartment. Jacuzzi upstairs

The apartment was just off of the square with restaurants, shops and close to the beach and caves.

The bed in the main bedroom had a spring that made it uncomfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the single bed in the other room.
