Excellent accommodation with a wonderful hostess and in a perfect location. Filomena welcomed us warmly and suggested various places for us to visit. She had also prepared in our room several snacks for breakfast as well as local products for us to try. She was very helpful with anything we needed. The house is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the old town of Matera and right in the center of the new town. Definitely worth staying here if you visit Matera.

Philomena was a lovely host and met us at the property and was in touch with us during our stay to see if we were OK. Decent location and near the city centre.

La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile ci ha dato molte informazioni anche su dove mangiare ed è rimasta a disposizione per tutto il nostro soggiorno. Ci ha aspettate per aiutarci col parcheggio. Casa ristrutturata. Asciugamani grandi e morbidi. Doccia molto spaziosa. Viene fornita una colazione con varie scelte (merendine confezionate e succhi, acqua fresca in frigo) Posizione ottima a due passi dal centro.

La casa è molto buia, abbiamo preso l' appartamento con cucina ma mancano molte cose per cucinare (scolapasta, mestolo, tagliere, coltello che tagli bene...)tutte cose risolvibili. La casa è pulita, ma occhio anche al bagno alle ventole e in alto... Per i nostri gusti troppi profumatori per ambiente 7 che davano un po' fastidio con mix di odori.

Our host was fantastic! Very attentive, she went out of her way for us really, and was very friendly and kind. A fantastic host! The location was absolutely perfect, and she provided us with an itinerary map with all of the best attractions to visit. The breakfast was ample.

👉 Walking distance to the Sassi, a supermarket and the best trattoria in Matera. Trattoria Lucania (The line forms 1/2 hour before opening, so it's nice to be able to walk over there in a few minutes to wait.) 👉 Wonderful new shower 👉 We were lucky to find street parking, but parking is available nearby for 10 Euro a day. 👉 Host is very helpful. Easy to communicate with through Google translate. We forgot a bag. Host contacted us and waited for us to return to the apartment several hours later.. 👉 Refrigetator, table and chairs, snacks and breakfast pastries. 👉 Really great AC. Cools the room quickly.

The electric socket by the refrigerator charges phones much faster than the socket by the closet.

Great location. It was very clean and everything was functional. They left us snacks for breakfast etc.
