peaceholm at cromer

Fantastic location. Great for elderly parents with grab rails and all in one level. Well Stocked cupboards and coffee machine. Great communication from owner and some lovely welcome items left out for us- Chocolates, milk, water and tea bags. There was A fantastic selection of games and dvds.

Unfortunately the property is very tired and dirty it needs redecorating and a deep clean from top to bottom. The floors, doors, light switches, cutlery drawer, microwave, shower, cupboards, windowsills, blinds, fridge, skirting boards (in fact - just about everything ) was filthy. I had to go and buy antibac clothes and a dishcloth to clean before we could use anything 😢. The garden is an overgrown mess full of weeds with a very dirty kitchen area at the top. The sheet on the double bed was an old, dirty looking flannelette and had hairs on it, Luckily I found a spare sheet and as able to cover it.

The house was lovely, having stayed in a variety of accommodation in and around North Norfolk over the last 40 years this was real value for money. Local bus company has a deal on where it is £2 to any destination including in to Norwich, as there is a bus stop less than 100 yards away the car hardly moved.

The weather 😉 but that is out of everyone’s hands.

Garden needs lots of attention

Good size. Very clean. Good cooking facilities.

Could do with a gardener!

location was suitable for me and wife ,but was a bit further than we thought for walking into the main part of Cromer itself .

the general appearance and tidiness of the rear garden was a bit of a let down ,as was the water feature which we never switched on due to all the leaves inside . the front garden could have had the planters and pots emptied of dead plants removed and made ready for this year's planting. The garden pond and the garden photos on the internet is what made us book Peaceholm other than that we felt very at home there and enjoyed every thing else and the hospitality of the host ,many thanks to you Ken.

Very comfortable and spacious and had nearly all I needed. The sunroom was lovely for dining or sitting. The location was good for me.

Was unable to use the TV as it was too complicated for me! The garden was unusual.
